1. Who We Are

ADHD Map (adhdmap.co.uk) is operated as an independent project. For privacy-related enquiries, please contact info@adhdmap.co.uk.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

  • User-submitted reports: Wait times, shared care decisions, medication stock reports, and reviews. These may include an optional email address for follow-up.
  • Email signups: If you sign up for updates, we store your email address and the type of notification you requested.
  • Provider submissions: If you submit or claim a provider listing, we collect the information you provide.
  • Analytics data: We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which collect anonymous usage data (page views, performance metrics). No personal data is collected by these services.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To display crowd-sourced reports (wait times, reviews, shared care outcomes) on the site
  • To send you email updates if you opted in (only the types you selected)
  • To improve the accuracy and usefulness of the directory
  • To contact you about your submission if necessary (only if you provided an email)

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted within the EU/UK region. Row-level security policies ensure that sensitive data (like email addresses) is not publicly accessible. Only aggregate or anonymised data is displayed on the site.

5. Cookies

ADHD Map does not use tracking cookies for advertising. We use essential cookies only for authentication (if you log in to manage a provider listing). Vercel Analytics does not use cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
  • Vercel: Website hosting, analytics, and speed insights

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for email communications at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

To exercise any of these rights, email info@adhdmap.co.uk.

8. Data Retention

We retain user-submitted reports indefinitely as they contribute to the public good of the directory. Email addresses provided for follow-up purposes are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted unless you have also signed up for email updates.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
