Each ICB is scored out of 100 points across four dimensions:

Right to Choose status

30 pts

Active=30, Restricted=15, Suspended=0, Unknown=10

NHS wait time

30 pts

≤13w=30, ≤26w=24, ≤52w=16, ≤104w=8, >104w=0, no data=12

SCA rejection rate

20 pts

0–10%=20, 10–25%=15, 25–50%=8, >50%=0, no data=10

Provider availability

20 pts

6+ providers=20, 3–5=14, 1–2=8, 0=0

Scores are recalculated nightly. Data is sourced from patient-reported wait times, ICB policy tracking, and provider listings on ADHD Map. Higher scores indicate better ADHD access. Missing data uses conservative defaults.

It uses patient-reported wait times, publicly available ICB policy information, and provider listings on ADHD Map to generate a composite score. Scores reflect the data available at the time of calculation.

ICBs with missing data receive conservative default scores. We encourage ICBs and patients to contribute data to improve accuracy.
